Tuesday Trades - ljctree

Okay, so I was not sure what trade I wanted to blog about today, but then something came in the mail...

Last month, lj from ljctree and I made a trade. She had some wonderful things, really wonderful things, that I just fell in love with!  First there were some beautiful earrings that I asked her about...then she asked if there was more I would like since there were a couple of things she wanted from me!

So we got it all figured out. She wanted a black amulet bag and a custom order amulet bag! I ordered the beads and got right to work! Here is what she got:

this was the custom work

I picked out four lovely pairs of earrings and some cool beads that I needed...then I found this great letter E! The E is what came today. It is positively enormous!! It is practically half as tall as me! Okay so here are all the pictures:

These are currently my favorite earrings!

nice bead stash!

it is 18 x 24! crazy huh?!

My life is awesome at this moment in time!

Tuesday Trades - LuDesignsCreations

I think that I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was involved in a couple of Secret Santa gift exchanges with a couple of Etsy teams...Anyway, I traded for the gift for one of them! I got this necklace for my Secret Santa:

This necklace is called a tree of life necklace and was made by Lucy from LuDesignsCreations! It was a really cool necklace, not really my style, but still very nice. My Secret Santa said that she loved it!

This is what Lucy got from me!

Well, that is all for now! Happy Wednesday!!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last week while grocery shopping at Walmart, we saw a sign that said “Welcome Walgreens Customers. ”
“Well,” I thought, “that is odd. I wonder if the Walgreens down the road went out of business…”
As an MBA student, I was curious and began to do a little research. I discovered that the sign was there because of a recent contract that Walgreens was not allowed to renew!
The contract was one with a company called Express Scripts which is a large pharmacy coverage network. This means that people who are members of the Express Scripts program (including all military personnel and their families) are no longer able to buy there prescriptions at Walgreens.
Being forced to change pharmacies is a hassle. Finding a new one that is “in network” can be difficult. Then once you do change you have to get to know the pharmacist and hope you like them and feel like you can trust them. Many people are having to drive farther to get the medicine they need which further increases the cost of their meds. Another thing that is worth mentioning is that Walgreens offers more 24 hour pharmacies than any other pharmacy in the country. Period.
Now all the people that are being forced to change pharmacies are being subjected to strange pharmacists in inconvenient locations that charge more for the same products and that are not open when you really need them. I mean really, how many times have you really needed medicine from 9 to 5? And think about families with kids! Kids are always more sick at night!!
Walgreens is really sad that this has happened because the real hurt is happening to real people. People are being hurt by this and many will be forced to make some tough decisions. As a means to help ease the pain of customers who will be affected by this change Walgreens is offering a phenomenal deal. Walgreens is offering Walgreens Prescription Savings Club to individuals (an annual membership costs $20) and to families (annual membership is $35) for only $5 and $10, respectively. With a membership to the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club members receive special discounts on over eight thousand (that is 8,000!) prescriptions and they are name brand and generic too!
Here are all the details: For $10 a year, a family membership covers everyone in your immediate family, including a spouse, dependents 22 and younger and pets. Individuals may join for $5. Join and receive discount prices on your prescriptions.
Other benefits include:
Savings on more than 8,000 brand-name and all generic medications
Discounts on flu shots, pet prescriptions, nebulizers and diabetic supplies
Bonuses when you purchase Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services

What has happened is outrageous! People are being forced to spend more money, to travel farther, to search for a trustworthy pharmacist, and to be subjected to inconvenience.  But Walgreens is trying to heal the hurt caused by another. If you support Walgreens in their valiant effort to make life better check out Walgreens on Facebook page (and Like them too) and follow Walgreens on Twitter!
