Featuring Junee Hee!!!

Today, I want to introduce you guys to Junee Hee! This is a great Etsy shop filled with all kinds of wonderful things! The motto is even “Every creation, every product has a story to unveil.” How great is that?!

Junee has a very unique style which stems from an awesome mix of Chinese culture and the New York fashion world. If that was not cool enough, she chooses the natural path to creation by using eco-friendly and organic materials such as her favorite’s – bamboo, wood, fresh water pearls, stones and ceramics. She also likes to mix in some Swarovski crystals because she likes to “sparkle the spirit of the nature.” Isn’t that great! Now take a look at some of her amazing work!

Like Nothing I have ever seen before!

My favorite!!

This one is made from Organic Bamboo with Swarovski Coral Pearls and Golden Chain.

Great ring! I think I would wear it everyday!!

I love that this one is called a “sugar cookie” it looks just like one!

I hope you guys will take a look at Junee Hee’s Etsy shop and take a look at her Facebook :D Leave her a nice comment and tell her I sent you!

Life is Awesome!

So today Mom and I were out grocery shopping and decided to stop at a couple of craft stores because there were some sales going on. We needed more black clay for the antique jewelry and then we found out that another store was having a 50% off sale on spools of ribbon! Wohoo!!! Look at these lovelies!

Also, my sister started a new class this week! Classic Pastries and Chocolates!! I am so excited about this class of hers! Last night she brought home a chocolate mousse and it looks soo good!
Doesn't it look Divine?!
And another fun thing! We got two new computers earlier this year and my dad decided he needed to take the hard drives out of the old ones and keep them. So, while he had it all taken apart...he asked me if I wanted anything...Of course, me being me, I said, "Yes please! Can I have it all?!" He took it all out for me! Look at this great stuff I have!

There are two motherboards, 4 DDR RAM, video cards, sound cards - the works! All mine! I can't wait to start making some jewelry with it all! Life is so great!

Diamonds are a girl's best friend.....

I have read that "diamonds are a girl's best friend, but pearls become a woman." I have no idea if that is true or not. I mean, I think diamonds and pearls are both lovely! And on a girl or a woman...not so much on guys. Of course, I am partial to pearls. They are my birthstone. Anyway, now that that pre-blog ramble is out of the way...On to the post!
Hi everyone! It seems like forever since I have written a new post. So I thought I would show you what I made today! Here you go!

This is everything!

Ahh. It's nice to sit back and enjoy a job well done :D I bought the wonderful glass buttons at a quilt show in Lansing back in May. It was my first day on the job during my practicum (internship). That was such a lovely day! Then I got the dark blue crystals at Michaels on sale. The lovely pearls I purchased at T&T in Grand Ledge. It is kinda funny how these pieces came about...We got back to Indy last night from a trip to MI for my grandmother's memorial service...so we were all pretty lazy today. At lunch time, my mom asked me why I was not beading and...well....I did not have a good answer. So after the lunch dishes were dry and put away I sat down to make something amazing, if I do say so myself. It was not very challenging, but it was very, very fun. Beading is so wonderful! I have also been knitting a sweeter. I will post some pics as soon as it is done :D

My AWESOME Little Sister!!

Oh, I miss my little sister! :( I miss her a lot. It is so hard to be away from home after a nice time over Thanksgiving break. But here I am, back at school and I plan to make the best of it. My sister, who, if you didn't know, is a baking and pastry arts major in Indiana, sent me an e-mail today in which I found some great inspiration for a new jewelry line!! Her is what she sent me:
It is for sale at Etsy.com! Isn't it great?! On further research I also found these little beauties!
My sister thinks I should make an some for her and that got me thinking...why not do an entire line of kitchen jewelry?! It would be so cool! My sister is a great supporter of my addiction to beading and jewelry (well, crafting in general!). She offered to sell them to her classmates! She's so great!

And now for something completely different...a nice Youtube video to make your Monday way better!
