Missing Trades - Part 5: HoneybeeHobby

Holly from HoneyBeeHobby is wonderful! She makes amazing crocheted items that are super cool! I have traded with her many times, but I am getting ahead of myself....

It all started on day last November. It was a trade frenzy and I was checking out everyone's shops. then, all of the sudden, I found this great shop! It had all kinds of cool items like a Pokéball Tote. But what caught my attention the most was this amazing yellow headband!

You may be aware that yellow is not my favorite color (in case you are wondering it is pink). Somehow, this headband just seemed to be calling my name!

So I quick sent a convo to Holly asking her if she might possibly be interested in doing a trade with me. She wrote back ASPA with a YES!  We worked out all of the details and I got the headband and she got these earrings! Everyone went home happy!

My Life in Pinteresting

Have I ever talked about Pinterest? I think it may have been one of the reasons I was not posting in April...then again maybe it was all the homework for my MBA...No matter.

I love Pinterest! My cousin introduced me to it over Christmas time and I quickly became addicted!

Since then, I have amassed some 1640 pins and 13 boards! That actually is not that many. I know some people with loads more pins than that!

Tuesday Trades - Belle Rose Designs

A few months ago I did a trade with Julie from Belle Rose Designs!

Julie makes lovely fabric rosettes! I got these! Don't you just love them?

Julie chose a pretty memory wire bracelet from my shop!

Life is Awesome!

So today Mom and I were out grocery shopping and decided to stop at a couple of craft stores because there were some sales going on. We needed more black clay for the antique jewelry and then we found out that another store was having a 50% off sale on spools of ribbon! Wohoo!!! Look at these lovelies!

Also, my sister started a new class this week! Classic Pastries and Chocolates!! I am so excited about this class of hers! Last night she brought home a chocolate mousse and it looks soo good!

And another fun thing! We got two new computers earlier this year and my dad decided he needed to take the hard drives out of the old ones and keep them. So, while he had it all taken apart...he asked me if I wanted anything...Of course, me being me, I said, "Yes please! Can I have it all?!" He took it all out for me! Look at this great stuff I have!

There are two motherboards, 4 DDR RAM, video cards, sound cards - the works! All mine! I can't wait to start making some jewelry with it all! Life is so great!

Okay so today my mom and I did some amazing stuff! This is just so cool!!!

I made all of these that you just saw!! And they were so easy and fun! I can not wait to work on more tomorrow!

So these are made if Fimo clay. You start out with plain black clay like this.

Then you paint it with gold leaf!

Mom made these three.

I just love these so much!! Don't they just look ancient? I feel like they look like some ancient Egyptian stuff that came out of the tombs...Or some cool movie props. I just love them!
