Exciting News!!

Hello Everyone!!

I just have to share some information with you!! Most of you know that I opened my shop a couple months ago (BlackAntBeads.Etsy.com). Well, I was given an amazing opportunity and I took it! 


Tomorrow! Tomorrow, I am being featured on Crafty Attic. Crafty Attic is a website similar to Groupon, but it is only for handmade items. So my deal is $12 for $20 and goes toward shipping too!

I am just really exited about this and just wanted to let you all know about a little bit that is going on in my life :D So, yeah, I am pretty much ridiculously excited!! Jumping up and down excited. Well, I know it has been a really long time since I have posted anything and I do have an excuse...You see....Today....I Opened my ETSY Shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippy Skippy! I opened today! So there are some pictures of some of the items I posted. I plan to add something new everyday, so you guys will have to keep up! lol

So, yeah. I like to shop and it is even better when I can save money while shopping. While admiring some lovely things on Etsy.com I began to wonder if there are coupons for Etsy. I did some quick Googleing and discovered an amazing website called Heartsy. Heartsy.me is a deal a day website that only features Etsy sellers. The deal goes something like this...$7 for $28 on printing. So the deal is that you pay $7 (or whatever it is for that deal) and you get a $28 credit for the Etsy shop. If that isn't sweet enough, they also have a boutique! The boutique has some pretty triumphant items which are cheaper to get through Heartsy that through the Etsy seller. Well, if you sign up for Hearty with this link you get a $5 bonus that you can use towards any purchase you make. So that deal for $7, is now only $2! So awesome!! Anyway, I signed up a couple of weeks ago and I made a little purchase through the boutique! I got these supper cute earrings! They came all the way from Australia! And came in such lovely packaging! Inside the padded envelop was a green drawstring bag. Inside the bag was a lovely little wrapped package with the most adorable ribbon and accents. And inside this tiny parcel were these darling earrings! I am so thrilled!

Now! You also need to know that I did not actually pay any money for these earrings! I have been earning a little online currency by doing surveys online. Dollarsurveys.net gives you a dollar in your Paypal account for every survey you complete and you can do one every day! I earned $4 last week just from this website! So, I paid for the earrings with online earnings and had the discount that Heartsy had on the cute little things and on top of that I had the $5 Heartsy sign up bonus!  I am just saying that this is so cool! Not only is this a great way to buy things for yourself, but you can also buy things as gifts. And you do all this while supporting the handmade movement! Legit!

So, in conclusion...There is a way around needing money to be thrifty! You should definitely sign up for Heartsy!! And possibly Dollarsurveys.net. And you will be sooo happy!

Life is Awesome!

So today Mom and I were out grocery shopping and decided to stop at a couple of craft stores because there were some sales going on. We needed more black clay for the antique jewelry and then we found out that another store was having a 50% off sale on spools of ribbon! Wohoo!!! Look at these lovelies!

Also, my sister started a new class this week! Classic Pastries and Chocolates!! I am so excited about this class of hers! Last night she brought home a chocolate mousse and it looks soo good!

And another fun thing! We got two new computers earlier this year and my dad decided he needed to take the hard drives out of the old ones and keep them. So, while he had it all taken apart...he asked me if I wanted anything...Of course, me being me, I said, "Yes please! Can I have it all?!" He took it all out for me! Look at this great stuff I have!

There are two motherboards, 4 DDR RAM, video cards, sound cards - the works! All mine! I can't wait to start making some jewelry with it all! Life is so great!
